Clayton M. Christensen
Clayton M .Christensen is a famous Mormon who is one of the most impressive individuals of our time. He is an incredibly intelligent man, who judges his success in life not on what he can accomplish, but on how well he can help other people. His accomplishments are much too long to list, all while going through significant challenges most will never face in life.
Adored by all who know him or have heard him speak, he leads a life worthy of an example for all to follow.
Some of his accomplishments that can be easily listed are below, although if we used his gauge of success, we would have to interview millions of people around the world that have been taught and influenced by him to know his real impact.
Clay is the best-selling author of nine books and more than a hundred articles. His first book, The Innovator’s Dilemma received the Global Business Book Award as the best business book of the year (1997); and in 2011 The Economist named it as one of the six most important books about business ever written. His other articles and books have received the Abernathy, Newcomen, James Madison, and Circle Prizes. Clay is a five-time recipient of the McKinsey Award, given each year to the two best articles published in the Harvard Business Review; and has received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Tribeca Films Festival (2010).
